This crash happened 2 days after I bought my new 2003 XX with only 432 miles on it! We were on our way to Cloudland Canyon when  car in front of us, with no brake lights or turn signal suddenly turned.  The first bike, Tony, was on the outside and missed the car.  I was the second bike on the inside and I barely missed the bumper, but when I recovered I ended up off the shoulder.  I kept the bike up and almost had it back on the road when I kept hitting Fire Ant mounds.  I hit 2, but the last big one sent me sliding down the embankment on one side of the bike, then at the bottom the bike hit a rock and flipped up and landed on top of me.  It's amazing what adrenalin can do, I pushed the 500pd bike right off me like it was nothing.  The bike was heavily damaged on the left side, and some on the right where it flipped at the bottom.  I was not too happy since this was my brand new XX and this was my second ride.  After several parts from Honda and help from some of my friends the 2003 XX is back to new!  My crashing spree is over!
